Burgondie Comtoise

C'est comme ça qu'est surnommée la nouvelle région Bourgogne/Franche-Comté. Honnêtement ça me fait bien rire la "Burgondie Comtoise" XD
On dirait que ça sort d'un autre siècle. Avant d'être une région, la Bourgogne était un royaume et donc le royaume de Burgondie à cause de la dynastie des Burgondes.
Pour ce qui est de la Franche-Comté, Fraintche-Comtè selon ses habitants, se trouve être en réalité l'ancien comté de Bourgogne (la Bourgogne actuelle est en fait l'ancien duché de Bourgogne, oui y'en avait deux) La région était une terre franche, c'est-à-dire exempte de taxes douanières envers l'Empire germanique, après qu'elle y a été rattachée en 1026.

Voilà pour la minute historique ~ Minute parce que leur histoire (individuelle et commune) pourrait remplir des pages x)

It looks like it comes from another century. Before being a region, Burgundy was a kingdom and thus the kingdom of Burgondie because of the Burgondes dynasty.
About Franche-Comté, Fraintche-Comtè by its inhabitants, is found to be actually the old county of Burgundy (the nowadays Burgundy is actually the old Duchy of Burgundy, yes they were two) The area was a loam, that is to say, free of customs duties towards the German Empire after it was attached there in 1026.
