His only King

Let's do some history =^o^=

The early Middle Ages until the 15th or 16th century around, the power of the King, and Paris, greatly weakening. This period was therefore the golden age of knights and independent lords. King was king in name only, a symbol more than a real power.
The reconquest of royal power begins with Charles V (Hundred Years War and so on) but not culminate until much later.

Getting back to this drawing, peculiarity is that the Lord Guyancourt bear the power of Paris instead of trying to take the lift. Although obviously, officially serve the King brought special privileges.

I think we can put this drawing around the late 17th and 18th centuries, just before Versailles claim Guyancourt as her property. At that time, King was again full authority over the kingdom of France but prefer life at Versailles rather than Paris (notably Louis XIV, the Sun King) and the capital lose its prestige again before come back strong in the French Revolution in 1789.


So! I'm pretty happy about the final result of this drawing ^^ Guy looks good with long hair _{(and kinda looks like France XD)} And I like how turn out Henri too ~
They really look good together ~ _{(They're just work partners and friends nothing more, girls!)} As a final word I'll say that Guyancourt  served faithfully Paris for 7 centuries and he has always remained loyal to the capital later and it's still true today. Paris will always be his true King no matter what! ;3
